About Us
Paul Fleury, Co-Owner
After growing up on the eastern shore of Maryland graduating from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business, Paul moved to Charleston in 2005 where he soon discovered his passion for solar energy. After spending a few years as national account manager for an automotive chemical manufacturer, he left in 2008 to start Sustainable Energy Solutions, with friend and business partner Greg White. After three years of designing functional solar systems up and down the coast, Paul is now a board member of the SC Solar Business Alliance and an active member of the SC Solar Council, (the SC chapter of the ASES). He has worked to write federally funded grants, achieve awards for military contracts with nationally recognized contractors and provided solar to homeowners, small businesses and non-profit organizations across SC, MD and GA.
Greg White, Co-Owner
Greg was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia and was educated at the University of Georgia in Athens. Since then he has completed a variety of NABCEP Solar Thermal CE courses, has earned credit as a NABCEP PV entry level PV installer at the NC State Solar Center and has taken the NABCEP Thermal Certification test this past Sept. He has managed over 40 solar projects from Maryland to Georgia including a pair Federally (ARRA) funded grant projects, commercial and residential installs and currently is managing military contracts for both Thermal and PV systems at four Air Force Bases across the SE for a national contractor. Greg is also currently working towards his NABCEP PV installer certification.
